Aamir Khan shares rare family picture of a lazy Sunday, son Azad looks like his mini-me

Aamir Khan has shared an adorable picture of his wife Kiran Rao, son Azad and their family dog on Instagram.

Actor Aamir Khan has shared a precious new picture of his perfect little family. He took to Instagram to post a photo of his wife Kiran Rao, son Azad and their little doggy.

“Lazy Sunday,” he captioned the photo. In the picture, Kiran is cradling her adorable son in her lap and Azad is holding on to their dog. Both mother and son are wearing big glasses and enjoying a a good meal with the family. Azad looks like the perfect combination of both his parents in the picture.

Katrina Kaif also liked the picture. She will be seen with him in his upcoming project, Thugs of Hindostan. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Born through surrogacy in December 2011, Azad is Aamir’s third child. The actor also has a daughter Ira Khan and son Junaid Khan from his first wife, Reena.

In a recently unearthed interview to Chinese media after the success of Dangal and Secret Superstar, Aamir talked about Kiran and their love story. “I met Kiran when I was doing Lagaan. She was one of the ADs (assistant directors) on that but at that time, we didn’t have any relationship, we were not even great friends. She was one of the people on the unit. It was after my separation and divorce after some time that I met her again,” he told the interviewer. “In that moment of trauma, her phone came and I talked to her on the phone for half an hour. And when I put the phone down, I said, ‘My God! I feel so happy when I talk to her.’ It struck me in that instant that when I am talking to her I am so happy,” he added.

After that phone call, Aamir and Kiran began dating and even lived together for more than a year before they got married in 2005, three years after his separation from first wife, Reena Dutta. “I can never imagine a life without Kiran as my partner. I feel very blessed and I am very grateful in my life... she is a wonderful person and I am very lucky to have her in my life,” he said.
