Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were seen hand in hand at a LA hotspot.
Priyanka Chopra and fiancée Nick Jonas were spotted hand in hand in Los Angeles as the Quantico star returned to the US after her roka in India; Nick and his family had gone back home last week after the engagement ceremony.
Priyanka and Nick had some alone time as they headed to the high-end restaurant Nobu for a brunch date. Priyanka looked glam as she was seen wearing high-waist jeans with a black shirt while Nick wore a blue shirt and brown pants.
A Mumbai Mirror report said that the couple will be attending a wedding in Italy soon. “Priyanka completed the first schedule of Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim earlier last week and will now only join them again towards the end of September. She had stayed back to complete some prior commitments and spend time with her family before heading to the US, a trip that was planned well in advance,” the report said, adding, “During the month-long trip, the actress will also be attending a wedding in Italy with Nick, the bride reportedly being the daughter of a corporate bigwig.”
Priyanka and Nick got engaged according to traditional Indian rituals in Mumbai earlier this month. A puja was organized at the actor’s Mumbai residence which was attended by the American singer and his parents. Priyanka also hosted a party later that was attended by her select friends including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Parineeti Chopra.
Talking about Nick, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra later told DNA, “Nick enjoyed the prayers during the puja. It was a new thing for him and he took it seriously. He followed what our panditji said, and chanted the Sanskrit mantras accurately. Both he and his parents did it beautifully. They are nice people.”
Nick’s father Kevin Jonas Sr also posted a number of photos from the celebrations and wrote, “What an amazing day of celebration for @nickjonas and @priyankachopra engagement and Indian culture.” The couple is expected to tie the knot later this year but no date has been confirmed.
The two families also visited an orphanage, where Priyanka danced on her song in front of the children while Nick sang one of his numbers. “My heart is full,” he wrote in an Instagram video of the visit.
On Friday, the former Jonas Brothers member released a song with Robin Schulz called Right Now. Its lyrics are suspected to be for Priyanka, “And I swear, the next time that I hold you / I won’t let you go nowhere / You’ll never be alone, I’ll never let you go,” Nick sings.
